Mapping the problem - the background

Form: The medium is the message, Marshall McLuhan. (Lightbulb)

Land, water and air  pollution are media. They have no inherent message yet they change the world around it.

My project  explores ways to interpret pollution highlighting its affects. on lands, water sky, animals and culture. Pollution as media,  is a different way to conceptualize Eco Feminism.  Testing this hypothesis my practice of Art opens spaces to explore the pervasiveness and  impact of  pollution on community, it how affects our human consciousness, and society.

Ideas: Art as data.  Art as conversation. Art as visualization. Art as research. Art as public intervention.  Art as beauty.
